1. Service Description
Matsukaze provides AI-generated English summaries of Japanese corporate filings sourced from EDINET (Financial Services Agency of Japan). Reports are produced by artificial intelligence and are delivered on a per-credit basis.
2. Not Investment Advice
Matsukaze is not a registered investment adviser under any jurisdiction. Reports generated by this service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You should not rely on Matsukaze reports as the sole basis for any investment decision. Always consult a qualified financial professional and verify data against original filings before acting.
3. AI-Generated Content
Reports are generated by artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic). AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or misinterpretations of source material. Matsukaze does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any report. You are solely responsible for verifying information against the original filing on EDINET.
4. Credits and Payment
Summaries are purchased as credits at $8.99 per credit. Each credit entitles you to one AI-generated report. Credits are non-refundable once a report has been generated. Unused credits do not expire. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
5. Refund Policy
If a report fails to generate due to a technical error on our end (e.g., the document could not be retrieved from EDINET, or the AI service was unavailable), your credit will not be consumed. Once a report is successfully generated and delivered, the credit is considered used and is non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, reach out via our contact form.
6. Acceptable Use
You may use Matsukaze reports for your personal research and analysis. You may not: (a) redistribute reports commercially without permission, (b) represent AI-generated content as your own professional analysis, (c) use the service to generate content that violates applicable securities laws, or (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the service.
7. Intellectual Property
Source data is publicly available on EDINET and belongs to the respective filing companies. AI-generated summaries are provided under a personal-use license. The Matsukaze brand, design, and software are proprietary.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matsukaze and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated reports. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account.
